I mean, frankly, is there anything in the story? Same old story, humans are villain, who are so greedy that they can destroy in fact completely destroy Na' Vi' s colony. Oh and yes, a love story is outrageous.

I mean come on; so much money spent on this. The only good part about movie was good technical work. Movie art is the only thing I liked.

Story wise, genetic transformation is same old science fiction which for me is boring; nothing new in that.
Overall, I didn't liked the movie. Any comment from you guys are welcome.

As you all know, Apple has introduced a new version of iPhone, and claims that the iPhone 3G S is "the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet", with improved speed and performance.
According to the company, the new iPhone is twice as fast as iPhone 3G and has longer battery life, a 3 megapixel autofocus camera, video recording and hands free voice control. The new version has features such as cut, copy and paste, MMS, spotlight search and landscape keyboard and more. The previous version of the iPhone did not have cut, copy, paste, MMS and video recording features and the lack of these basic features in a 3G phone were regarded as a major slip by Apple. This has been addressed in the new version iPhone 3G S.
The iPhone 3GS is fast from the word Go. The startup time of the handset is 15 seconds flat as opposed to the iPhone 3G, which takes under a minute. Now even the transitions are much smoother, thanks to that 800MHz processor and a much more powerful dedicated graphics. The phone has really quick load times; games and applications easily take less than half the time taken by the standard iPhone 3G. Every time I timed the two devices it amazed me to see how well the power translated into a greater and much better experience. The thing about the iPhone that drove us all crazy was the experience, and now that it has become faster, it is all the more better.
The 3.0 OS brings along with it several goodies. Apple says the iPhone 3.0 software also includes a ‘Find My iPhone’ feature that works together with MobileMe to locate a lost iPhone on a map, send a message that will appear on the screen or play a sound to help the user to find it even if the phone i s set to silent. If the user cannot find your iPhone, he can erase all data and content with the Remote Wipe feature.
So far the iPhone 3GS has the same charm that the first-gen iPhone had when it was launched. The real downer here is the same looks. The hardware changes are all very much welcome but the question that I was asked later by friends and colleagues was "is it worth it?" Well, for the expected pricing of around 30K for the 16GB and 35k for the 32GB, it seems quite fine.

E3's Surprise: MGS finally on XBOX360

Yippee, one of the best news for XBOX 360 owners who always wanted to play Metal Gear games on Xbox is that Metal Gear's new game Metal Gear Rising will get released on Xbox 360 too. This new Metal Gear game will be starring series veteran Raiden, from Metal Gear Solid 2 & 4. The title also claims to have "Lighting Bolt Action."

Although the secret behind the Raiden image has been revealed, what about the other images of Big Boss (if it is him) and that creepy mask? With the countdown on Kojima's website still ticking, it seems likely that Kojima has at least a couple more surprises for us at this years E3.

First Impressions: Red Dead Redemption

Red Dead Redemption is the follow-up to its predecessor Red Dead Revolver released in May 2004. It is being developed by Rockstar San Diego. It was officially announced on February 4th, 2009. It is set to be released in the first half of Take Two's 2010 fiscal year, which spans November 2009 to April 2010.

Redemption takes place roughly 50 years after Revolver, just after the turn of the twentieth century. The story follows John Marston, a reformed career criminal, who is forced to do the bidding of the newly-formed Bureau of Investigation thanks to an apparently deadly ultimatum. Rockstar was deliberately vague on the details of the plot, but we do know that Marston's quest will take him to three areas in the game: the frontier, Great Plains, and south of the border to Mexico. Rockstar has always had desires to return to the Wild West according to Hamish Brown, Rockstar London's PR representative for the day. He claims that Redemption is just as ambitious as any of the Grand Theft Auto games, with wide open plains and a bigger world than any Rockstar game to date.

Demo of the game started out in a typical western setting:brown dirt, scrub bushes, distant monoliths, and some suspicious-looking cowboys loitering around the outskirts of a ghost town. It seems that a friend of Marston's, Bonnie, has been kidnapped by outlaws, and in exchange he needs to deliver a sheriff and his prisoner over to them. Somewhere along the way, the deal goes sour and Marston and his posse need to shoot their way through town to rescue Bonnie before she‘s hanged. Thankfully, you have a healthy range of weapons at your disposal, including six shooters, shotguns, carbines, rifles, knives, axes, Gatling guns, and TNT.

Fans of the previous game will be familiar with Dead Eye, which makes a return appearance in Redemption. This bullet time mode allows you to take precise aim at enemies whether you’re on foot or in the saddle. When using single-handed weapons you'll also be able to line up several targets on one or multiple enemies at a time. Redemption features a regenerative health system, so hiding behind cover for a few seconds is enough to heal your wounds. We're told the cover system will be similar to the one in GTA, and the natural environment will provide protection including rocks, vegetation, and even dead carcasses.

While you'll be able to traverse great distances thanks to coaches and trains, horseback will also play a major part. Each horse will have different abilities; if you steal one from town it should be in fairly well-kept condition, or you can choose to rough it and train a wild stallion instead. No game set in the wilderness would be complete without some wildlife and Redemption features plenty of varmints to shoot. A dedicated "ecology" system ensures you'll encounter snakes, armadillos, cougars, wolves, coyotes, mountain lions, buzzards and even bears along your journey.

In addition to randomly generated animals, we're told there'll be hundreds of procedural events as you explore the world. On our journey into another town we saw a woman whose stagecoach had broken down. On closer inspection, however, it was actually an ambush with several bandits appearing from behind the coach. Heading down the road, we saw a man being mauled by a pack of coyotes--you can choose to help him, but you risk having the pack turn on you instead. These events take place randomly around the clock but they're not all dangerous--expect to get the occasional friendly invite such as sharing a campfire meal with some pilgrims after dark. If you fancy human companionship, you'll be please to know that a multiplayer mode has been confirmed, although no details were revealed during our demo.

You can trade with merchants in towns, buying and selling a variety of goods including general supplies, weapons and even animal skins you've collected. We strolled into an abandoned saloon during the day, which turns into a rowdy, honky-tonk location at night once the townsfolk have knocked off work. While the sun's up, however, they'll get about their business and you can observe them going about their daily chores if you so desire. While you’re in town you're able to play a range of mini games and gamble your money away in poker. In one mini game, we saw Marston try his hand, quite literally, in a wager of good ol' five finger fillet. Using the A and B buttons for knife stabs, each round gets subsequently faster, and harder, which can easily result in a painful flesh wound. As with all the best Rockstar open-world games, Marston will be able to wreak havoc on the towns, but Redemption will have a robust law enforcement system in place to stop any law-breakers.

Next, we saw Marston take a trip south, where his services were requested by the Mexican Army to protect a supply train. Riding alongside the train, the aim is to take out rebels while defending the train. You can jump off your trusty stead onto the moving train (and back again) or even highjack other horses on the move. The scenery south of the border looks splendid, with rivers, palm trees, ridges, gorges and huge valleys showing off the Rage engine's technical prowess. The draw distances look particularly impressive, spanning huge valleys and finishing in the far distance with majestic mountain ranges. The world will also be populated with forests, rivers, plains, bustling towns, small outposts, Indian reservations, and possibly even some snow. There’ll also be a dynamic weather system and day/night cycle in the game.

The game will also boast a physics engine that's a hybrid of Rage and NaturalMotion's Euphoria, which will be applied to Marston, NPCs, and even animals to make their animation more lifelike. Anyone familiar with GTA will instantly recognise the health/map gauge in the bottom-left corner of the screen. However, this time around it comes complete with an added horse life gauge. The sounds of Redemption appear to be just as authentic as its graphics, and we heard plenty of ambient western-themed music and effects which helped to create an atmosphere of tension.

Red Dead Redemption is riding into town this year on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. We're certain to get behind the reins soon, so keep an eye out for more coverage in the coming months.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo, commonly known as E3, is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association. It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware. The new E3 Expo is run by International Data Group instead of by Entertainment Software Association commonly known as ESA.

E3 is largely regarded as the world's largest regular convention for video games. Video game companies generally spend more on their presentations for E3 than any other convention. This includes fancy decorations and pyrotechnics. E3 is is the same expo where Nintendo declared Wii and Sony showed playstation to public.

E3 2009:

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2009, commonly known as E3 2009, is the 15th Electronic Entertainment Expo held. E3 2009 is scheduled for June 2-4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. E3 is an annual trade show for the computer and video games industry presented by the Entertainment Software Association (ESA). It is used by many video game developers to show off their upcoming games and game-related hardware.

Rumors Rumors Rumors. Sony must be pissed of all rumors going around. Well the new rumor is an all new Sony PS3 which supposedly sheds the rather fat and ugly image of the current model. This rumor could be true, considering Sony's track record in slimming down their consoles - starting with the PSX to the PS2 Slim. Chances are the only modifications will be cosmetic in nature, so don't expect the innards to deviate too far away from the true path. I must say that the probability of having a chip instead of software emulation to play PS2 games are next to impossible with this supposed new iteration, and would I dare venture that this slimmed down version will feature a new 160GB hard drive? Quiet possible!

Playstation3 rate cut till E3 in June

THQ CEO Brian Farrell says he expects Sony to drop the price of the PS3 during 2009, but predicts such a move won’t occur until after E3 in June.
“The challenging platform obviously is the PS3,” he said during THQ’s post-earnings release conference call, transcribed by Seeking Alpha. “The right people to ask about price cuts there are Sony. We are not expecting a price cut at E3 but we do expect one later in the year but again, that’s just our guess - that’s not based on any knowledge from Sony.”
He also said that Xbox 360 was showing pleasing sales momentum at its current price point and that there was some “softness” in the Wii market.
“We are pleased with Microsoft’s momentum at their price point. We are seeing a little softness in the Wii which we kind of think of the glass as half full here, in that the Wii has been going for an unprecedented amount of time without a price reduction, so we just may be seeing both some economic [factors] and the fact that they’ve already got a pretty substantial installed base at their original price point.”

Assasins Creed on iPhone now

The iPhone and iPod Touch version of Assassin's Creed: Altair's Chronicles is released now. It's available on the iTunes App Store right now, and weighs in at around 140MB.
According to Ubisoft and developer Gameloft, the iPhone version is a spruced-up version of the DS game of the same name.
The prequel to the hit console game Assassin’s Creed, Altair’s Chronicles puts you back in the role of Altair, a 12th-century Master Assassin sent by the Order of Assassins to steal “The Chalice” from the Templars. Your goal is to bring an end to the Crusades and restore peace and order to the Holy Lands.

Patapon 2 would only be available via the PlayStation Store -- i.e. downloading it would be the only way to play it. Jessica Chobot and commonly known as "CHOBOT" was first noticed by the video-game/techie scene as "the girl who licked the Sony PSP" back in 2005.

Seeing that very hot girls that really like video games are a bit of a rarity, she was hired by IGN.com to be a journalist for the poor video games and gamers who never had a pretty face with boobs to speak for them.

Life Story:

Jessica Chobot became an overnight Internet sensation when a tongue-in-cheek modeling photo of her appeared online licking the Sony PSP. The photo has been widely parodied since, even appearing on Sony-branded advertising.
Supplementing her love of videogames is an obsession with Japanese culture: specifically, anime and manga. Chobot was hired full-time by IGN.com to take over hosting responsibilities for the network's IGN Weekly show. Her segments include stand-up introductions as well as "woman-on-the-street" pieces. In addition, she contributes columns, features and reviews and her IGN blog is one of the most visited on the site. Chobot is also a former contributor to FHM UK, Mania.com and has made multiple appearances on G4's "Filter" and "Attack of the Show." She has also hosted a videogame preview segment for Fuel TV’s, “The Daily Habit,” and co-hosts on Lifeskool TV’s, “Gamer’s Dojo.” She also contributes as a weekly guest on Maxim Radio, where she answers caller questions for an hour each Monday.
Most recently, Jessica has appeared on commercials for ADV’s Anime Network On Demand cable station, lent her likeness to Symbiote Studios Toy Company for two limited-edition anime-style sculptures. In addition, she has modeled for the J!NX female gamers clothing line. In 2006-2007, she co-wrote a sci-fi script with writer/director/creator of Tron, Steve Lisberger.

Wii Motion Plus: Countdown Begins !!!

At last Wii motions plus is coming. This new peripheral designed to enhance the Wii Remote's motion-sensing capability. Tentetive dates are, yes any guesses, huh, off course you cant do that, date is June 8th.

Enough good news! Now the bad news is Nintendo says no pre-existing games will be patched to support Wii Remote peripheral, which will only add new functionality to titles specifically designed for it.
